Why do I have two email inboxes?
Outlook is your university email account, just like a student email account you may have had at your previous school. This is the official means that the University will communicate with you about events, registration information, financial aid, news, and many other things. It is very important that you frequently check your CLU email or forward your student email to a personal account that you check often.
Your Canvas Inbox is for conversations with your instructors and fellow students. It is your classroom messaging tool. If you have a question on an assignment or wish to arrange a phone call with a classmate, you can use your Inbox in Canvas to send a message.
